Litwick Variations

Description

Different breeds of Litwick are born into various kinds of scents. Each are posed in different kinds of displays for a photoshoot. lol

Litwick eventually grew on me on how adorable yet menacing they are. I thought of doing Pokemon variations out of them since I have a liking of scented candles and candle decor as well. This piece became my most popular artwork on my tumblr on the day I posted since December, which is no surprising for a fanart, but I'm happy for the massive notice.

I've also gotten some comments mentioning and asking about these Litwicks if they are a crossbreed of other pokemon or if they're good or bad. I'm not really the designer of the Poke'mon series but since I created these variations, I guess I can confirm their existence within the Poke'mon world anyway.

Q: Are they crossbreeds from other Pokemon?

A: Nope. They are BREEDS bred in different scents, shapes, and colors that share a common ancestor to the original Litwick line. The same goes for the many different breeds of dogs that all come from the wolf for many various purposes.

Q: Are they evil? (had mixed comments of wanting to keep these, others warn of their pokedex entry. haha)

A: There are two theories I come up with. Good or evil, whatever you like to depict them based on the possibilities.

BAD: They're still as evil as their ancestor. These litwicks use their aroma for better at luring their prey to their demise.

GOOD: Centuries ago, it is said that religious figures and saints might have domesticated the Litwick for their lights, because of the fact
candles symbolise enlightenment and have the power to ward off evil spirits (yeah, that's ironic, but ghost type is strong against
ghost type). These litwicks were raised under human care for hundreds of years that their appetite for life energy has depleted, and
developed  a diet for specific foods that eventually make their scents. (another fun fact: incense and other aromatherapy also
ward off evil spirits and clear off bad air for rituals.) Today, these litwick breeds can still be found in sacred places, but they can also
be found in cafes, hospitals, and even be kept as pets! Their docile and dependent nature makes them completely harmless to human
and pokemon contact, however, laws exist to forbid interbreeding these breeds with the original litwick.

You know what, I'm going with the good side. I'de like to have one too. HAHAHAHA

All of these are adorable, I love the Gel one. Can I make my own Litwick without it being a ghost type? It will be a good Litwick of mine :3
